Inland Shark Discovery Follows UFO Sightings viewtopic.php?f=31&t=3920

Was a UFO responsible for the whale carcass stranded 2300 feet from shore?

[quote]On Thursday, September 29, 2011, sad photos surfaced of a 33 foot long Sei whale carcass stranded in a field in East Yorkshire in Eastern England. The discovery was made 2, 296.56 feet from shore. That's nearly a half mile, or .434848 miles to be precise, definitely not a place where you would expect to find a dead whale.

How did this lone stray whale make it that far inland to meet its death on a grassy marsh? At least one person is already pointing at a UFO as a possibility. A 44-year-old man from the United Kingdom prepared the video on the left side of this page, titled "UFO Abducts Whale, Dumps It One Mile Inland." Who can blame him for putting fórth this UFO theory? After all, how else could a whale end up so far from home?

According to The Daily Mail, the reason for the whale's strange death was a little less extraterrestrial than the aforementioned UFO theory, but no less bizarre. Experts from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and the British Zoological Society believe "an exceptionally hígh equinox tide" is to blame for carrying the whale far into the salt marsh then subsiding and leaving the whale behind.
