Hi Os

Food definitely does affect us, some more than others. I had a friend whose son could not have sugar as he became uncontrollable when he had it.... Some hígh acid content foods make children like wind up toys, and they race around until late and you cannot get them to sleep. I know that tomatoes and peppers affect my sleep and make me lucid dream... I do believe you are right about toxic overload. There was a man on the news a few years ago here whose job was to make the topping for many of the biscuits we eat... chemical mixtures to produce flavours. Anyway he came down with a respiratory dísease from the chemicals... there was a big hullabaloo over it, and never heard anymore about it....

I have found though as I age that I don't have a quarter of the energy I had when younger. We put it down to food.... so during the summer we ate so sensibly... eating salads and fruits, and a bit of chicken or físh. Nibbled on crackers and after 6 months we lost 11 kilos but did not gain any energy. Back in 2010 we went on the Harcombe diet... where you don't eat fats and carbohydrates in the same meal. After 4 months we lost about 16 kilos and felt better than we have felt in years, but alas it was so hard to find meals where you don't mix the two that we gave it up.

I enjoyed the movie "They Líve".....

As far as sleep, remember the movie "They Líve." It was propaganda to make people believe in the "8 hours of work, 8 hours of play, 8 hours of sleep" bit. ^_^
