Hello Zetar;

Yes, Pen made some good choices there. Either Roosevelt had the vision. And Jefferson actually saw over two centuries down the road. Much of what he wrote in later years seemed to be referencing today. And yes, Gandhi would be hard to top as one who saw a peaceful way out of everything.

I'm forced to admit that observing this has actually done me a lot of good. I've been laying here, feeling sorry for myself and avoiding everybody until I deal with my situation (first appointment is Monday). But watching what is being done to our African brothers yet one more time, made me realize exactly how much worse off some people are than myself. Man is out to prove his inhumanity to his fellow man once again.

But does not some things seem odd? Like why is the only person who appears even remotely qualified for the position of American President, Colin Powell, not want the job? And why are the remainder such a bunch of underachievers? Yes, as I lay here watching the entire planet head down the road to colonialism, or worse, once again, I have suddenly cóme to realize that my problems are pretty minor. If we must thin the herd, could we not choose to use a more reasonable method this time around?
