Hi Zetar;

You could easily be right. It does make sense that the piece I'm missing here is the Fed. Probably too worried about being met with guffaws? Many people would refuse to consider an idea like this. As you said, this is pure speculation, because we're not going to find proof of anything like this. But if this is the case, then there's a major concern, so hold on .........

Hey Pen, let's drag what you said in at this point. I didn't realize that Australia has taken to skipping a formal budget as well. Is this concept contagious, or is there more going on than we realize? Two nations, both with leaders who came out of nowhere, and both are hated by the bulk of their constituents ............ purely coincidental? If your PM wins her election, might we know that something is wrong?

Now for the major concern. All of us are aware that the financial figures we're talkíng don't actually exist, correct? There isn't enough of anything on the planet to secure that much money. It's just points of light in a phototronic system somewhere. This leaves but one thing I can think of that any source of funds this large could be used for. A war chest. Of course they could be trying to crash the financial system as a way to gain control. But in that case, would it not cóme down to either/or?

Tim

Oh, my primary appointment? Smooth enough, but there's no consensus on the results yet.
