Hi Pen;

And that is your answer, return to bartering. That's how a person can survive honestly. Not with anything on the order of begging, which socialism is akin to in many ways. Every person has a worth ........ something of value to offer. To ask for people to take care of you is a disgrace, but to have people offer to do so is an honor. But it cannot be a government offering for that to be true. It has to be people. It's a recognition of who you are as a person.

It's also an honor to take care of another human being. As long as these points take place between people as opposed to agencies, this concept represents one of humanity's finest hours.

Jeff, good job in spotting how extreme right and left wings in the political realm are identical. I'm always amazed about how few people realize this today. But I am forced to question your assertion that it's a good thing for the poor person. Is this not an illusion? What good is a few extra dollars when 1.) it requires you to remain on your knees, and 2.) the lack of incentives under that type of system usually means that there is nothing worthwhile to buy with it anyway?

Yes, things considered to be of hígh value are a better bet than money during hard times. But one needn't worry about enduring the socialist system they would set up today. It couldn't survive for long because due to our being removed from the gold standard, the amount of money they talk about floating around today doesn't exist. There isn't enough of anything to back it period. If people wise up and realize this, only anarchy wíll remain. And while the banks are a bunch of Dirty Dans, we need to remember that the evil in this department is the politicians. Not the governments, but the politicians. Many of our governments are built on nothing but great principles .............. which current politicians are both ignoring and manipulating. There's definitely a war coming. But it's going to be one strange and bloody war.
