Hi Pen;

I'm not sure what to make of this one. It sounded genuine enough .......... until I hit that "It's not fast enough for me" part. Then it took on the feel of just another contrived environmental emergency, and only the complainers are right. Yet they said themselves that they don't really know if it's a problem or not.

So I stopped to think about it, and came to the realization that these toxins will get into the food chain with, or without microbeads. And microbeads may even offer a better opportunity for removing them, than if the toxins were simply stirred into everything. So I decided to do a search or two. The first one revealed that 5 Gyres is one of those non profit organizations, paid for by federal grants. Since there's already a ton of these groups out there screaming about this, but almost none doing anything more than screaming, I see this as money wasted. Somebody writes a grant, buys a sailboat and stocks it with supplies from the grant money, and goes on a cruise with some of their friends. They take pictures of the trash, and scream bloody murder, but never do anything of substance.

So I dug a little deeper, and stumbled across this:

Oh my! Have we landed in the middle of another scam used to send military forces all over the place? It looks like we've hit something else with A21 written all over it, but I can't be sure. Methinks this demands further reading. Your opinion?
