Health care workers actually have a point here. The risk involved is higher than that of a steeple climber. But those most at risk do not make $250 an hour. However, experienced doctors are not as much at risk, but can make upwards of $600 a minute in some hospital settings. Time for them to share the wealth?

Here is what I see coming out of this; a new type of racism. Only one Ebola case has died in America. A person of Negroid descent. But he was African, and the religion practiced in that part of Africa, a variation of Voodoo, would promote the spread of this disease, as it promotes extreme contact with the bodily fluids of the dead. However, that will be lost on the general public, should this pattern continue. Notice will be taken of the fact that other strange and deadly diseases that are difficult to transmit tend to spread like wildfire in this part of Africa. Thirty years ago, nearly everybody between 8 and 80 died of Slim's Disease (AIDS) there. Much will be made of this, and Negroid peoples will come to be seen as carriers of weird diseases through nothing more than fear and ignorance.

Does everybody see where I am going with this? If indeed a sinister motive is afoot, it may serve a far darker purpose than selling insurance.
