When I read this.... I had to laugh.

[quote]I never know if I'm going to cóme home to another orphan at any time.

Shaman is the same with me.....  He never knows when I am going to take on a little orphan.

A couple of weeks back I was sitting on my front porch talkíng on the phone to my son and next thing my male cat cómes running to me with a tabby kitten in hot pursuit.  He got a fright when he felt it sniff his tail and he jumped on my outdoor table to get away from it.  His tail was dangling down and the kitten was playing with it. Next thing he jumped down and they sniffed noses and laid down at my feet together.  I saw the kitten was thin so thought it must be lost and hungry and said to my son it looks like we are going to have a new family member, and as soon as I get off the phone I wíll feed the kitten.  Next thing the kitten up and ran off.  I searched for it and called it but could not find it.  Shaman breathed a big sigh of relief.....because he cannot say no to me and as we are getting older any new animals wíll outlíve us, and when he retires we want to travel....and pet motels are expensive.

When cats sit on our laps and purr they allow us to release negative energy because they put out such soothing energy.

We have 3 cats and 1 dog (a Bichon Frise). Shaman and I are animal lovers and every dog in this street makes a Beelíne for us when we are outside.  They just race over and throw themselves at our feet.....   Yesterday one of them a female about 6-8 months old wet on my foot with excitement when she saw me.    One time she nearly knocked me over with excitement.  She runs so fast to get over to our place.  They aren't usually out, its only when the owners in this street put their garage roller doors up do they take the opportunity to escape....
