I am going to have to take my male cat to the vet..... his chin is swollen.  I put some medicine on it last night, but haven't seen him today yet.  He cómes out from his sleeping hidy spots in the evening when he is hungry.... I am hoping the medicine I put on it has helped....but won't know until he cómes in....  Its the first place I have líved that my cats have been able to be free.  They have always been house cats. I set them free for a short time in Qld when I líved there and my male got bitten by a snake so I kept them all in again after that, especially when I discovered from the vet that snakes in Qld don't go into hibernation.... and I set my cats free thinking that the snakes would be in hibernation. But here there is a Tom cat going around bashing other cats and my cat appears to have been its latest victim.  My cat couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag as he has always been a house cat. He cannot even hunt birds!
