Hi Pen -

I am glad to hear Ed got your hair dryer working againimage You have had that one for a long time!

My friend helped me out, gave me a ride to work and fixed my car... it was just this little fixture, a plastic piece that had finally broke which connects the shifting gear to the stick in the car that allows drive, neutral, reverse. He took one look and spotted it right away heh, I could have looked at that for 100 times and never would have had a clueimage

I don't like to carry my phone and so I couldn't call him at the time my car broke. If I carried my phone with me I wouldn't have had to walk, so my harsh stubborn will struck harsh stubborn results yet againimage
Thank goodness 90e3646c2ae6bfe6ba5cf97eaabc184c4fbb936d_s that it was nothing big wrong with your car.....  its obviously a good thing to know some mechanics.... smiley: laugh  I could stare into a car's engine and not know what is what.... well I know what a radiator is, and an engine.....and that is about all. smiley: laugh  Edd's father was a mechanic and his brother is one....  Edd knows exactly what to look for to fix a car and that is about all.... we take them to get fixed....  Cars cost a fortune to get fixed over here.... parts are incredibly expensive.  When in the US on holiday once my son in law emailed me a photo of a tiny car part that would cost him $1,800 here and asked if we could get the part for him in the US.... we did and it costed $50.

Its a good idea not to carry your phone everywhere these days..... because you are tracked everywhere through your phone.  Its not that we do anything wrong, its the sickening thought that there are government stalkers....  smiley: sick
