No, this is just the nature of Holy Wood. They like to pass judgment on things, then try to convince everybody that they are right, and their great wisdom (HA!) should never be questioned.

Let's try a different example here. The Indians and the Settlers. Holy Wood gave us the savage heathens, pious settlers, noble redskins, and the evil white people. All stereotypes, and every one wrong. Yet they persist with two of those stereotypes to this day. The wisest thing we could do in my opinion, is to follow events as they unfold, use our heads as an instrument by which to think for ourselves, and quit treating Hollywood Directors like some kind of prophets, because that is one thing they are not. I firmly believe we can determine these things for ourselves, and the directors should return to what they once did well. Entertain. What does everybody else think?
