Tell Edd to hang in there, okay? As another male, I wonder what it is about our bodies that causes this condition? But most of us do it at one point or another. I wonder about them always taking the Gallbladder like that? As soon as they took mine, I started having other problems. They said it would end the bile issue, but that's a load of bull puckey. Mine may have slowed down, but that's it. My Colitis started hitting more frequently after they took it too. Not to mention being instantly irregular, and nothing I do seems to correct that. I believe that the Gallbladder, while not critical, is more important than they think it is.
Hi Tim

He still gets stones caught in his liver bile duct even though he no longer has a gall bladder..... apparently its quite common! He was told to expect one every 5 years or so. He nearly died a couple of years ago due to one getting stuck ......  yet he hadn't had a gall bladder for years.  Actually he was so close to death when his gall bladder went, they did not think he would make the trip up via flying doctor.  One thing is certain fatty foods must be at a minimum after gall bladder removal. The gall bladder I believe regulates the fats we eat.... If my hubby has anything too fatty it really upsets his system.....  Fatty foods are out for him....
