It is that. But after a little thinking, perhaps it's not that surprising if you consider everything that's going on right now. Why would such a story surface again right now? The article said that the new liberal government in BC made that pledge. I suddenly see it as very possible that a couple of non-related cases may have been tacked on the recent end of this ................ intentionally. The region in question is far more desolate than even the far reaches of your Outback. It's like our West End, here on the Peninsula. People go missing and are never found all the time. This is especially true of natives. Remember me telling you that the only true crime the white man committed against the red is giving them alcohol? That is very true. Everything else was a mixed bag ............. things they did to each other, and things the red man would initiate against the white man as well.

But alcohol completely destroyed the vast majority of them. You've never seen anything so sad. Even the story of the Trail of Tears does not come close to this. Indians get hammered and disappear on a regular basis .............. only to be found tangled in their own fishing nets, or something like that. It's such a constant thing that the tribes in question may have assumed this is what happened to these women ............ or ........... as I recall, a lot of these victims simply went missing. Can you see what I'm driving at here? The left around the world seems to be playing a game right now, and we have to watch everything they say and do like a hawk. I pray I'm wrong, and they would not stoop this low, but then I could easily see Obama doing this. If they have manufactured something through fabrication, in order to drag an entire group into line, then they will pay dearly, should they be caught.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I agree with you. This story stinks of something to high heaven, but it's hard to tell exactly what. I started thinking about it last night, and realized this is another possibility. If it is, then giving the Indians booze has struck again. More Indians have died from alcohol in the last three hundred years, than died in all of the Indian Wars, and from natural causes combined. This is an actual statistic BTW. It's not some claim or assumption. And it sucks. The girls whose bodies were never found, may have simply stumbled off into the woods in a drunken stupor, and died from exposure. Our forest is as dense as a jungle here, so bodies are hard to find. Usually only the skull is found, because it's the only readily recognizable bone. Animals scatter the skeleton all over the place.

If the story happens to be true, something I sorta question right now, then the Mounties have themselves a problem on their hands, because the only other thing this story points readily to? Some group targeting native women. From what I pointed out above, you should be able to see that the list of victims could easily be much higher? Not to mention stretching over a longer length of time. We have to rely on the natives to report the disappearances, and they aren't very reliable about this where loners are concerned.

Neither possibility sounds very good, does it? At any rate, I'll guarantee you that we are nowhere close to hearing the entire story, irregardless of what is the truth. I hate things like this. They suck royal, in many different ways.
