I could have sworn there was a thread on this subject around here somewhere, but I can't find it?268264421ab55b7bf2ca7f1668fbb740a535b299_s

Anyway, here's a loose example of such taking place in the real world:

http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/California-Gun-Law-Seize-Guns-Without/2015/12/30/id/707588/?ns_mail_uid=80784677&ns_mail_job=1647995_12302015&s=al&dkt_nbr=zafsd1lo

It would fit in the gun control thread as well, but this just seems too juicy to hide inside it. Confiscating a person's guns because somebody told somebody else that they think they're going to fly off their rocker? Tell me this one isn't going to be abused.
When I saw the subject header for this thread I thought you were adding to the existing thread, but I can't find it either.... strange.... unless you had another name for the thread 268264421ab55b7bf2ca7f1668fbb740a535b299_s36426872a6be5bebfb5a751ad5353383be4a10ae_s

Its bound to be abused like many laws are.....
