As a series, it would be tough to get interested in, because they're constantly killing off main characters. The Dragon Mother chick is pretty cool, providing they haven't killed her off yet. But within a single season, they killed off every main character that I found interesting, in some of the most disgusting ways.

The guy who wrote (is writing actually. He's still putting out new novels) it says that it is based on England's War of the Roses. Well, we all know how bloodthirsty it was. And they didn't have any real life dragons either. At least the war ended before Henry VIII was born. That man had to be the worst tyrant England ever had.

Hi Tim

Yeah, that is what surprised me the most about it..... killing off the main characters so fast (the only decent ones).... which made me feel depressed and stressed straight off.  What is the purpose of that!?!  My son is stressed about me watching it.... He believes our spirits remember everything and that TV series will be forever stuck in my spirits memory.... and my psyche and I believe he is right.  And I also believe that what we see on TV and movies sooner or later becomes reality.... the more people focusing on it the faster it becomes reality because they are adding their power to it.   I read the history of it and what it was based on, but we do have a modern day equivalent....  ISIS.

When I traveled to England and heard the tour operators speak of the barbaric history of Britain I was almost paralyzed with horror...!  I would not even go into the Tower Of London because I did not want to feel the energy of the terror the victims felt in that tower because the energy would be embedded in the stonework.   Many may not feel it but I know I would, I am sensitive like that.

I don't think I will watch more of it, although my husband will..... its just too violent for me, and since I started watching it I haven't been able to sleep......   because the horrific scenes keep haunting me..... smiley: eek
