Everybody has noticed how we seem to have a bunch of fruit loops at the helm these days haven't they? Why do you think this is? We have a bunch of leaders who appear to be all giddy over the prospect of taking a poke at one another. They seem to enjoy watching the misfortune of other nations, like they think it wíll detract from the lousy job they are doing themselves.
So what is this? A return to the 19th Century way of thinking? The current fiasco in Central Africa is certainly mindful of colonial times. And all the leaders of the more powérful nations are sounding off like they're dreaming of empire. Even some not so powérful. The leader of Turkey for example, is making few bones about reminiscing about the days of the Ottoman Empire. Iran is outright blatant regarding a similar mindset. Yet neither of them wields enough powér to do much, and both are hated in that regíon by all their neighbors. They would certainly be toast should they try anything.
But does world news not remind one of things from the history around 1750 to 1800? Exactly how far out of touch are these people, and how did they manage to get this way?
