I watched a huge full looking moon on the way home. I think [hope] it was just a belt that broke, will find out the truth of all that tomorrow There is a beer imported from Munich Germany which has a friar on the front of the bottle and a pint of beer in his hand with a smile, and I was telling a friend earlier in the day that those European Christians know how to relax, and how even Jesus drank wine but you never heard of Jesus stumbling over tables... moderation vs indulgence was the topic, then I made a joke about Jesus turning water in to wine during a 'gathering'... which is just an ancient way of saying PARTY! On the long walk home I figured perhaps I went too far with all the jokes earlier in the day

My friend helped me out, gave me a ride to work and fixed my car... it was just this little fixture, a plastic piece that had finally broke which connects the shifting gear to the stick in the car that allows drive, neutral, reverse. He took one look and spotted it right away heh, I could have looked at that for 100 times and never would have had a clue I don't like to carry my phone and so I couldn't call him at the time my car broke. If I carried my phone with me I wouldn't have had to walk, so my harsh stubborn will struck harsh stubborn results yet again

My sister is the worst horror story I've ever heard, but she had her's done way back in the late 1970s when they first started doing this procedure. And yes, they did correct that problem. They also corrected her eyesight to a point where she can see .............. and she had something like 20/750 vision before they did it. That's way past legally blind. Today she can even drive. Sounds like they've really come up with something wonderful, does it not? I guess you will still have the nearsighted thing, but I have that, and I also have 20/10 vision. I'm happy for you Pen, wearing glasses everywhere must really be a pain in the posterior. The fact that they were able to get my sister to the point where she can drive? Makes it sound like you can expect great things, does it not?So, when can I expect to see something similar for the ears? Twenty two years of running very large chain saws has left me more than clinically deaf, and hearing aids amplify everything, not just what you need to hear. Jeff said it best. Getting old sucks. Think I'm going to start a falling apart club up here.
